A love poem

I sat on the mountain,

Looking at the heavens,

A breeze came

And took me to the world of comfort.

I saw a great beauty

He was looking at me

His arms wrapped over me,

His smile always there for me.

My tears betrayed me,

My pride was gone

I found a person who loves me

The way I am

He took me to the crystal sea

And strolled with me in the garden

I sat on his lap

He told me stories.

I couldn’t see his eyes

They are bright and shiny

Full of zeal and passion

Full of love and peace

I waved him goodbye

He ascended to the heavens

Jesus is his name

He loves me and I love him too
